Description

Erin Jackson is one of the fastest-rising comedians in New York City. She’s a fixture in the city’s top comedy clubs and made her Netflix debut on Season 2 of Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready. Erin is a television writer, currently working on the hit Netflix show, The Upshaws, and has appeared on Hulu’s Life and Beth, Late Night with Seth Meyers, CONAN, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, This Week at the Comedy Cellar and Last Comic Standing, just to name a few. She also co-hosted three seasons of Exhale, a panel talk series that aired on the ASPiRE television network. Her comedy album, Grudgery, debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes comedy charts. Erin is a proud alumna of Howard University and a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Marion Grodin is an American comedian, actress, television writer, and the daughter of the late Charles Grodin who was an American actor, comedian, author, and television talk show host. Charles began his acting career in the 1960s appearing in TV serials including The Virginian. Marion has featured on many television shows, including “The View”, MSNBC, and CBS Radio, where she hosted a show for two years. She is also recognized for Three Long Years (2003), Princesses (1991) and The Joke’s on You (2014). She is a breast cancer survivor and started her career as a staff writer for two network sitcoms and was later hired by 20th Century, to whom she sold six screenplays. Just as she was about to embark on her seventh, she decided it was time to start practicing stand-up comedy instead of writing them and worked as a comedian for more than 15 years.Career Resources & Planning She has her own memoir titled: Standing Up: A Memoir of a Funny (Not Always) Life. In this memoir, Marion integrates her diverse and challenging life experiences and unstoppable ability to make everything funny in a way that is both entertaining and helpful. She hopes that her book will send a message to those who feel they are misfits and to those locked in addiction: there is a way out – and life can be very good when you kick the habit. Her hilarious riffs include; the story of growing large breasts that appeared seemingly overnight (Unfortunately this happened during the summer that she spent on the set of King Kong with her father and Jeff Bridges on whom she developed a huge crush); Her post-divorce life, its slight weight gain and how she relied on her wise support group, her cats “BabyFighter” Edmond and “fashionably sporty, forensic expert” Snuggles.
